Sadaqah – Voluntary charity, given at any time and in any form, to help those in need.

Zakat – Mandatory donation of 2.5% of wealth annually to support the poor.

Fidyah – Compensation payment for missed Ramadan fasts, usually by feeding someone in need.

Kaffarah – A penalty donation for breaking an oath or missing religious duties, often involving charity.

Sadaqat al-Fitr (Fitrah) – A required charity before Eid al-Fitr to help the less fortunate celebrate.
