This year too, the Shamma Food Packages (RFPs) are being distributed — in our usual way: We partner with selected local shopkeepers based on product quality, pricing, and proximity. These shopkeepers accept our €35 vouchers and provide groceries of choice to the recipients.
Requests for RFPs begin pouring in well before Ramadan. These are verified through our contacts, local key figures, and other means. Next, we hand over a voucher worth approximately 6,300 PKR*. This method reduces waste, as families know exactly what they need and can tailor their package accordingly.
*The Euro-PKR exchange rate fluctuates. Whether your €35 converts to slightly more or less than 6,300 PKR, Shamma will round the donation to that fixed amount.
