Charity in Islam & Pakistan

Lillah – Voluntary donation solely for the sake of Allah, often used for religious or community projects.

Sadaqah – Voluntary charity, given at any time and in any form, to help those in need.

Zakat – Mandatory donation of 2.5% of wealth annually to support the poor.

Fidyah – Compensation payment for missed Ramadan fasts, usually by feeding someone in need.

Kaffarah – A penalty donation for breaking an oath or missing religious duties, often involving charity.

Sadaqat al-Fitr (Fitrah) – A required charity before Eid al-Fitr to help the less fortunate celebrate.

✨ Charity has no boundaries. You don’t need to be from Pakistan or follow Islam to donate—kindness is universal. Each form of charity reflects compassion, responsibility, and faith, ensuring support for those in need.
