March 23 reminds us every year of Saturday, March 23, 1940—the day when a historic resolution was passed in a large gathering, uniting efforts to fight together for a free and independent state. This moment was a key milestone in the struggle for Pakistan’s creation.
Seven years later, the state of Pakistan was established. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed in any way to this great achievement.

The distribution of Ramadan food packages is going well, Alhamdulillah. So far, 154 packages have been given out, amounting to €7,700 or approximately 2,310,000 PKR.

As every Ramadan, we are continuing with the Shamma Ramadan Food Packages (RFP) project. We started yesterday to ensure families receive their groceries on time.
Our approach is simple and effective: In the areas where we operate, we partner with selected local businesses based on quality, price, and distance. These businesses accept our €50 vouchers* and provide essential groceries to those in need.
Even before Ramadan begins, we start receiving requests for RFPs, which we verify through local contacts and key community figures. The next step is handing over a voucher worth 10,000 PKR*, allowing families to choose their own groceries based on their specific needs.
This method reduces waste and ensures that families get exactly what they need for their Ramadan meals.
Since the exchange rate between Euro and PKR fluctuates, your €50 may be slightly more or less than 10,000 PKR. In either case, Shamma will adjust the donation to ensure the full value is delivered.

Yesterday, Shamma School held a beautiful gathering in honor of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (sallallaho aleyhe wa aalehi wa sallam). The children participated with great enthusiasm, engaging in the program with joy and excitement.
This event was more than just a celebration—it was also a meaningful part of their education and upbringing, instilling love and respect for the Prophet, Alhamdulillah.

The summer vacation has ended, and on Thursday, August 15, we warmly welcomed our students back to Shamma School.

Our method remains the same: We collaborate with selected local shopkeepers, chosen based on product quality, pricing, and proximity. These shopkeepers accept €50 vouchers and provide essential groceries to the beneficiaries.
Requests for RFPs start pouring in well before Ramadan, and we verify them through trusted contacts and key figures in the community. Once verified, the recipients receive a voucher worth 15,000 PKR*, allowing them to choose their own groceries based on their needs.
To ensure dignity and respect, we take privacy very seriously. Personal information is never shared, and no photos are taken, preserving the self-respect of those receiving the packages.
As the exchange rate fluctuates, your €50 may convert to slightly more or less than 15,000 PKR. In all cases, Shamma ensures that the donation rounds up to the mentioned 15,000 PKR value.

Over the past period, we have been working on various projects, Alhamdulillah. We aim to actively share updates again.
Shaadi Project 30 involves the daughter of an imam from a local mosque. The imam does not have financial stability, and thanks to the generous donations from supporters, the required budget was almost complete—except for the final 150,000 PKR (around €500).
We are grateful to Allah, the Almighty, for allowing us to contribute to this wedding, supporting a family in need.
