March 23 reminds us every year of Saturday, March 23, 1940—the day when a historic resolution was passed in a large gathering, uniting efforts to fight together for a free and independent state. This moment was a key milestone in the struggle for Pakistan’s creation.
Seven years later, the state of Pakistan was established. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed in any way to this great achievement.

As every Ramadan, we are continuing with the Shamma Ramadan Food Packages (RFP) project. We started yesterday to ensure families receive their groceries on time.
Our approach is simple and effective: In the areas where we operate, we partner with selected local businesses based on quality, price, and distance. These businesses accept our €50 vouchers* and provide essential groceries to those in need.
Even before Ramadan begins, we start receiving requests for RFPs, which we verify through local contacts and key community figures. The next step is handing over a voucher worth 10,000 PKR*, allowing families to choose their own groceries based on their specific needs.
This method reduces waste and ensures that families get exactly what they need for their Ramadan meals.
Since the exchange rate between Euro and PKR fluctuates, your €50 may be slightly more or less than 10,000 PKR. In either case, Shamma will adjust the donation to ensure the full value is delivered.

On December 25, 1876, Mohammed Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, was born. For years, he fought tirelessly for Pakistan’s independence, sacrificing his health and well-being to achieve his vision. His unwavering dedication led to the creation of Pakistan in 1947, earning him the revered title “Quaid-e-Azam” (The Great Leader).
Sadly, Quaid had little time left to shape Pakistan into the dream he envisioned. Only a year later, he passed away, leaving a nation mourning its most visionary leader. اناللہ وانا الیہ راجعون (Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.)
After losing our leaders in quick succession, corruption and greed took hold, and Pakistan’s future was placed in uncertain hands. Yet, we remain eternally grateful to Quaid-e-Azam for his unmatched contributions. It is our duty to carry forward his mission and continue striving for a stable, safe, and prosperous Pakistan.
Today, let us honor Quaid’s legacy—talk about his contributions with your children, reflect on his struggles, and pray for him. May his vision live on in our hearts and actions.
On Saturday, May 6, Shamma School in Gujar Khan hosted a vibrant Eid celebration, bringing joy and festivity to the children. It was a wonderful day, filled with laughter, excitement, and meaningful activities.
With the dedicated guidance of our teachers, the children participated in various fun-filled programs, making beautiful memories together. To end the celebration on a sweet note, Shamma offered a delicious lunch, ensuring that the day was perfectly complete.

Sadly, within a year of Pakistan’s formation, he left this world, leaving behind a legacy of strength, determination, and unwavering commitment to justice. انا لله وانا اليه راجعون (Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we shall return.)
Pakistan lost its guiding light too soon, and with time, corrupt and selfish forces took control. But the dream Jinnah fought for still lives within us! It is our duty to uphold his vision—to build a stable, secure, and prosperous Pakistan.
