Charity, Faith, and the Promise of Light

Allah says in Quran (57: 18-19)

Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allah a goodly loan – it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward.

And those who have believed in Allah and His messengers – those are [in the ranks of] the supporters of truth and the martyrs, with their Lord. For them is their reward and their light. But those who have disbelieved and denied Our verses – those are the companions of Hellfire.

Allah make us more charitable then we were in the past, to attain the noble reward in hereafter, ameen.

    Quote from Shikwa

Dr. Muhammed Iqbal writes in Shikwa (complaint to Allah):
Roz-e-Hashar main be-khof ghus Jaonga Jannat mein
Wehien se aye the “Aadam” (as), wo mere baap ka ghar hy

From Shikwa (Complaint): “On the Day of Judgment, I will enter Paradise without fear — After all, that’s where Adam (as) came from — it’s my father’s home.”

In Jawab e Shikwa (answer to complaint):
In amaal ke saath tu Jannat ka talabgar he kya?
Wahan se nikale geye they Aadam (as) to teri oqaat he kya?

From Jawab-e-Shikwa (Response to the Complaint): “With such deeds, you seek Paradise? Adam (as) was expelled from there — and who do you think you are?”
